This Stevens manufactured 24" long barrel is for the model 39A bolt action shotgun in 410 bore and has a chamber designed for  2 1/2" & 3" shells. This barrel is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of thinning original blue finish which is blending with a pleasing brownish gray patina and possibly having a few specks of surface oxidation. All of the printing is clear and fully legible. The bore is bright and rates excellent. (file photo)
